Transparent P3.91
Reference USD prices per m². Project configuration, control equipment, framing, installation, freight and import taxes are confirmed separately. Brightness and refresh values are from Window Display Catalogue V1.2, page 9. The catalogue labels the fine-pitch column P3.9; this page uses P3.91. Confirm the exact pitch, module drawing and model designation in your quotation. Final drawings and quotation govern your order.
Choose the structure.
Then choose the pitch.
A transparent LED display places light-emitting pixels across an open or transparent structure so the screen can show content while retaining a view through it. The right specification depends on the window, the light and the content.
PCB display or adhesive LED film?
For daylight-facing windows and long daily use, MDS starts by evaluating a PCB-based display. Thin adhesive film is an alternative when low weight and controlled indoor lighting matter most. These are product families, not performance guarantees: compare the exact brightness, circuit construction, heat management and repair method.
“Holographic” is a market description of the floating-image effect, not optical holography. Direct-glass mounting is possible with some PCB models as well as film; an adhesive format alone does not identify the underlying technology.
Read the MDS PCB vs LED film guideP3.91 or P6.25?
Start with your content and viewing distance. The finer-pitch option is the starting point for smaller text and closer viewers; P6.25 is a lower-reference-cost option for larger imagery viewed farther away. Ask for the final pixel resolution at your actual screen dimensions.
The catalogue lists 4000 nits for its fine-pitch model and 4500 nits for P6.25, with 3840 Hz refresh and at least 80% transparency for both. These are model specifications, not a promise of readability through every window.
Compare specifications and reference pricesBehind glass is a site condition.
Photograph the window from inside and outside, including its brightest part of the day. Share glass tint, reflections, direct sunlight, viewing direction and operating hours. Evaluate a sample with representative content before specifying the finished screen.
An outward-facing display mounted indoors is not automatically rated for outdoor exposure. Confirm protection, temperature limits, ventilation and mounting loads for the selected model and location.
Plan installation and service together.
The catalogue installation sequence covers glass preparation, module placement, hub boards, power and signal connections, controller setup and content scheduling. The final layout must also leave access to cables, power supplies and replaceable sections.
Ask who supplies the mounting structure, performs electrical installation and commissions the controller. Confirm spare parts and the repair process before production. Use the approved drawings and qualified local installers for the actual work.

Transparent LED buying FAQ.
Which transparent pitch should I choose?
P3.91 offers finer image detail. P6.25 is a lower-budget option for larger windows and longer viewing distances. Final selection depends on the content, viewing distance and glass layout.
Can I order a transparent LED sample?
A 500 × 500 mm demonstration sample is available at a promotional reference price of USD 800, excluding freight and import taxes. Confirm its pitch and availability with MDS before ordering.
How do I pay for my order?
MDS confirms the equipment, freight, delivery terms and invoice currency before issuing a proforma invoice. Payment is made by bank transfer using the company account supplied on that invoice.
Local collection accounts are available in the United States (USD), euro area (EUR) and Indonesia (IDR). Global SWIFT / T/T transfers support USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, DKK, HKD, NOK, NZD, SEK and SGD. Confirm the appropriate account for your order with MDS.
What is included in the reference price?
The displayed USD 1,000/m² for P6.25 and USD 1,350/m² for P3.91 are display-budget references. They are not a complete installed-system offer. Request an itemized quotation for the screen, controller, power equipment, mounting, spare parts, installation, freight, taxes and delivery terms.
What should I send for an accurate quotation?
Send glass width and height, site photos or drawings, installation country, viewing distance, sunlight conditions, content examples, daily operating hours, quantity and target date. Identify any required standards. MDS can then confirm the layout, configuration and commercial terms.
Can it be installed outdoors or in direct sunlight?
Do not infer outdoor suitability from a transparent appearance or a brightness figure. Tell MDS whether the equipment is inside behind glass or exposed outside. Weather protection, heat, electrical safety, structure and readable contrast must be checked for the exact site and model.
Can I cut, curve or fit the screen around a corner?
Custom cutting and curved layouts are subject to a confirmed design. Supply a dimensioned drawing before manufacture. The corner images on this page are visual concepts, not a promise that every module can bend or be cut on site.
Are the gallery images and videos project proof?
The hero gallery is labelled as concept imagery. The two MDS videos show an installation-and-waterfall sequence and an on-site window installation. They illustrate the process and effect; your model, dimensions and performance must be verified separately.
Can you confirm delivery and certifications?
Delivery timing and certification requirements are confirmed for the selected model, destination and project. Request the applicable model-specific test reports, warranty terms, exclusions and repair arrangements with your quotation. A general company certificate or catalogue statement does not establish compliance for every configuration.
